We’re putting together a small crew to do the Coney Island Polar Bear Club New Year’s Day Plunge at Coney Island.

On New Year’s Day, thousands of “brrr-ave” souls run into the Atlantic at Coney Island to ring in the year and raise money for nonprofits that support the Coney Island community, from local youth programs to environmental and ocean conservation efforts.

Why join?

  • It’s a ridiculous, joyful way to start the year

  • You’ll help raise funds for local Coney Island organizations and support a landmark Brooklyn community

  • Instant bragging rights: “I jumped in the Atlantic on January 1st.”
