Tracing their lineage directly to the legendary 14th-century poet, musician, and mystic Amir Khusrau, the Saami family descends from his disciple Samat bin Ibrahim. For over 700 years, they have preserved the discipline, poetry, and ecstatic power of qawwali in its purest form—an art that unites musical mastery with devotional depth.
