Guest Cocktailian Serves the Slope to Montauk Members

Fredo hard at work.

Fredo Ceraso serves up "The Slope"

It wasn’t just the sounds of Michael Arenella and his Dreamland Orchestra that warmed the crowd at “First Thursday.” A special thanks goes out to the unsung hero of the night – guest Cocktailian Fredo Ceraso, who warmed the crowd with his drink menu tailored to the evening. The “Slope” proved to be the most popular and provided quite a kick. Fredo writes the Barfly’s Beat and What We’re Drinking columns for loungerati.com. His drink reviews and interviews have been published in Atomic Magazine and is on staff at The Cad, where an article on “7 Steps to Throw a Perfect Cocktail Party” caught our eye. When not serving up some of New York’s finest sprit concoctions, he can be found on the bocce courts of Carroll Park on the other side of the Gowanus Canal in Carroll Gardens.

The Drink Menu for the evening was:

Bathtub Gin Rickey
Hendrick’s Gin, Lime Juice, muddled Cucumber, club soda

Pimms Lemonade
Pimms No.1, Lemon juice, cucumber, ginger ale

St. Germain Cocktail
St. Germain Elderflower, Champagne, Club soda

The Slope
Rye, Punt a Mes Sweet vermouth, apricot brandy, bitters
